Steve Davey

Steve Davey has a Bachelor’s degree in Science (majoring in Astrophysics) and a Master’s degree in Law.  He is a lawyer, patent attorney and trade mark attorney.  He has been the founder and CEO of a software company (Visimark Pty Ltd), an animal cloning company (Reinclonation Pty Ltd) and a law firm Stellar Law Pty Ltd.  Steve's shares in Reinclonation Pty Ltd were acquired by a billionaire in September 2018.  Steve currently earns a living from his law firm. 

 

Steve became interested in the discovery of the Talpiot Tomb after seeing the documentary The Lost Tomb of Jesus, produced by James Cameron and Simcha Jacobovici in 2007.  He saw the tomb firsthand on a trip to Israel with one of the leading researchers of the tomb, Dr. James Tabor.  Steve has subsequently done extensive research into the history of and scientific evidence for the tomb, as well as extensive research into the history of the Crusades, the Knights Templar, and the Cathar heretics of France.

Jeff holds a Master of Divinity degree (magna cum laude) from Moravian Theological Seminary and a Master of Sacred Theology degree from the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia, where he wrote his thesis on Jesus’ brother James. He has been the pastor of Grace Lutheran Church in Nazareth, Pennsylvania since 1996 and an adjunct professor of Religious Studies and Philosophy at Pennsylvania State University since 2002.


He is the author of The Brother of Jesus and the Lost Teachings of Christianity (Inner Traditions International, 2005), which has received critical acclaim as the best book on Jesus' brother James written for a lay audience. His latest book is The Secret Legacy of Jesus (Inner Traditions, 2010), has been called “the new definitive work on Jewish Christianity.”

Jeffrey Bütz

Charles is a forensic archaeologist.  He was the co-author of the book “The Jesus Family Tomb”, which was published in 2007 (a New York Times bestseller).  He appeared on the Jesus Family Tomb documentary produced by James Cameron in 2007.   Charles acts a scientific consultant for James Cameron and has collaborated with him on several projects, including the movie “Avatar.”  Charles’ book “The Last Train from Hiroshima” is currently optioned to James Cameron.  He went to the Titanic Wreck with James Cameron.  He is also the scientist who devised the theory of cloning dinosaurs that inspired Michael Crichton to write "Jurassic Park."

Jerry Lutgen

Jerry is a scientist who is recognized as one of the foremost experts on the Talpiot tomb.  He is an expert in statistics and has authored a groundbreaking article entitled “The Talpiot Tomb: What are the Odds?” which published in the eminent journal Bible & Interpretation.
